FAQ
At Airboxr, we want to make sure you clearly understand how billing works when you use our app through Shopify. Because Airboxr is a Shopify app, all charges for our service are processed through Shopify’s billing system, which uses a consolidated billing cycle designed to simplify your payments.
How Shopify Billing Cycles Affect Your Airboxr Charges
Consolidated Monthly Billing: Shopify groups charges for all apps you use, including Airboxr, into a single monthly invoice. This means you won’t see multiple individual charges for each app throughout the month - instead, all app fees are combined and billed together on your Shopify billing date.
Billing Timing: When you start using Airboxr, the charge for your subscription is not applied immediately. Instead, it appears on your next Shopify billing date. This charge covers your Airboxr usage from the time you started through the end of that billing cycle, plus the upcoming cycle.
Billing Cycle Length: Shopify billing cycles typically last 30 days, aligned with your Shopify subscription billing date. Airboxr charges follow this same cycle, ensuring all your app fees are billed consistently and predictably.
Why You Might See Charges After Unsubscribing
If you unsubscribe or uninstall Airboxr during a billing cycle, you might still receive a charge afterward. This happens because Shopify bills you for the entire billing cycle, including the period you used Airboxr before cancellation. Charges for that usage will appear on your next Shopify invoice.
Rest assured, once your subscription period ends and you have unsubscribed, no further Airboxr charges will be applied.
Charges are billed in 30-day cycles through Shopify, so billing timing may differ from when you subscribe or unsubscribe.
Managing Your Airboxr Subscription and Billing
You can track your Airboxr subscription status and billing details from your Shopify admin dashboard.
If you pause or close your Shopify store, recurring app charges like Airboxr’s will be paused until you reactivate your store.
To avoid unexpected charges, plan subscription changes around your Shopify billing date.

FAQ
I’ve just subscribed, but I haven’t been charged. Why is that?
Because Airboxr app charges are billed on a 30-day Shopify billing cycle, your first charge will appear on your next Shopify invoice, not immediately at subscription.
I’ve already unsubscribed, but I still got charged. Why is that?
You were charged for the portion of the billing cycle during which you used Airboxr, as Shopify bills app charges in consolidated 30-day cycles that may include time after unsubscribing.
I’m an agency and want to take on billing on behalf of my client. How can I do this?
We have a standard procedure for setting this up for you and your client store. Please reach out to us using our in-app chat for more support.
